In trying to help a caller with a small claims court case, I discovered the William S. Boyd School of Law and Legal Aid of Southern Nevada have posted videos on YouTube to teach people about cases in Las Vegas Justice Court. Because parties cannot recover their attorney fees in small claims court, and because the amounts in dispute are lower than in District Court, it is rarely worth hiring an attorney to fight one of these cases. These videos are great for those trying to navigate the system in Justice Court.
